10 Week Bin Transformation – Round 2.

This innovative project sees participants from all over Australia working to reduce their household rubbish output through weekly themed emails, a dedicated Facebook group and personal mentoring from me!

Round 1 (September – December 2017) was highly successful in helping households reduce their rubbish, and we’re now looking for large groups (100 – 1000 people) eg local government areas to participate ! Register for Round 2.

Remember – Tours and talks can be arranged for Groups and tailored to your needs. Register your interest by contacting us.

Albanys Low Waste Living day 28/4/18 was an inspiring day. In the morning a range of community members came together and we plotted practical actions to implement. Then in the afternoon, it was living ‘low waste’ at home, and making newspaper bin liners! Low Waste Living Albany

The Low Waste Shopping Tour 7/10/17 was another great walk & talk event at Katanning Woolworths, where I showed participants how to cut the amount of waste brought into the home, whilst still shopping in a mainstream supermarket.

Uncovering the Understorey field walk 5/10/17, was a lovely afternoon checking out our understorey revegetation project sites, and hearing about the techniques used here and on another farm.

The Dumbleyung Op-Shop Morning 9/9/17 was a great event – beautifully presented with a fabulous morning tea. I thoroughly enjoyed sharing our low waste journey with the ladies, and of course, getting some great ‘new’ second-hand clothes!

Thank you to everyone who attended our presentation at the Great Southern Sustainable Living Expo in Albany 25/3/17 – it was great to see ‘standing room only’ with so many interested people!

Also a huge thanks to all those people who came from far and wide to our Sustainable House Tours on Sunday 26th March and Saturday 10th June. It was fantastic to meet such passionate people!

The afternoon tour group learning about our hybrid wind & solar power system.
